I'm Ileana, a writer and filmmaker. I studied film & media, creative writing and digital arts at Dartmouth, and am passionate about storytelling, music, and the arts in general.
With experience as a business analyst, development producer, and writer, I am currently working as a producer and media strategist in the film & tech industry, between the US and South Korea. In my free time, I am currently working on two new novels and some personal film projects.
I was born in Korea and raised in Chennai and Prague, where I attended international schools. Then, after moving to Korea to attend Daewon Foreign Language HS, I went to Dartmouth College, where I earned my BA in film/media and English creative writing. I was exposed to many different people, cultures, and environments throughout my entire life, and there I was able to find my love for the arts and its ability to connect across borders.
My hobbies include reading, singing and traveling. I am passionate about meeting new people, new cultures, new experiences and old friends.
I have a soft spot for fairytales and folklore, and love going on spontaneous adventures-- whether it be paragliding or trying new foods. I'm especially interested in visual storytelling (film, animation, digital arts) and architecture.
I like making things that will last, and my goal in life is to inspire others, cause positive change, and help people be human in this ever developing technological world.
